My birthday was this past weekend. It did not turn out as planned and I was pretty disappointed. These pics and my outfits did not turn out as well as I would've liked, but I'm sure y'all know how that goes at times. As they say, the party must go on:

My Monday-Thursday wear is usually pretty boring (in my opinion). "Toning it down" can be difficult when you don't have many "office appropriate" options; he term office wear sometimes makes me itch, but I do my best. Today was not one of those days; I really just didn't give a damn. Horizontal stripes on the top AND bottom? Check. Bodycon fit? Check. Mixing prints??? Check. Sometimes you just gotta wear what you love and F the rest:

August fun

I've been a bad blogger; life has been hectic and I'm having a blast this summer. August is my favorite month (August babies for the win!) and I'm enjoying it as much as I can. Here's a few shots of what I've been wearing thus far. Enjoy!

this "top" is actually a belly dancing scarf/belt thingy that's normally worn around the waist. i tied it in the back and it's now a shirt :-)
